Park Point

College Town

RIT has conveyed approximately 60 acres to the Park Point developer to create the long-awaited mixed-use community. This is a privately developed and managed community with housing open to both RIT students and the general community. RIT Housing Operations will not manage the housing units, and private security will patrol the property. Residential model apartments will be ready before the end of calendar year 2007, and the Barnes and Noble at RIT Bookstore will be open for Fall Quarter 2008. The remaining commercial lease space is 100% committed.
