Construction

FMS Construction Services evaluates college, departmental and Institute needs and formulates programs for renovating existing buildings. Construction Services also works with the RIT community to forecast future needs and coordinates the programming and design of new facilities. They maintain campus maps and a data base of all campus buildings and rooms by size and use, create a series of reports to RIT's Administration and Colleges summarizing this data, and retain plans of all campus buildings for reference.

Construction Services project managers oversee contractor qualification and selection, and bidding. They also monitor the progress, quality, cost and scheduling of campus work.
