Our custodial staff is responsible for the routine cleaning of campus buildings and residence halls. This includes trash removal, dusting, vacuuming, shampooing of carpets, cleaning of public area furniture, window washing and maintenance and repair of blinds and drapes.

Some services are provided at an additional charge to the requestor. These include cleaning of department-owned furniture and equipment; washing of windows beyond normal cleaning cycles; moving of items; and shampooing of carpets beyond normal cleaning cycles.

To request service you can call the FMS Operations Center at 475-6771. Requests can also be submitted on-line at http://facilities.rit.edu. or sent via e-mail to fms@rit.edu.
